Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced – PlayStation 5 (PS5)

Raise the Black Flag and set sail with Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced for PlayStation 5, Ubisoft’s ground-up remake of the 2013 pirate adventure. Released on July 9, 2026 and built exclusively for PS5, it brings Edward Kenway’s story back to the Caribbean with modernised combat, stealth, parkour and naval gameplay.

You play as Edward Kenway, a charismatic privateer turned pirate during the Golden Age of Piracy (1715–1722). Caught between the ancient war of the Assassins and the Templars, you will explore Jamaica, Cuba, parts of Florida and Mexico, hunt shipwrecks beneath the waves, and fight alongside famous figures such as Blackbeard, Anne Bonny and Calico Jack. Sail your own ship, board enemy vessels, and decide how your legend is written.

Resynced rebuilds the experience with parry and takedown-focused combat, improved stealth and parkour, and new alternate fire modes for naval battles. It also adds new storylines for Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet, three officers who join the main narrative, sea shanties, pets and a photo mode.

Made for the PS5: DualSense vibration and adaptive trigger effects, real-time global illumination, ray tracing and Dolby Atmos support make the sea, the jungle and every cannon blast feel more alive. The game is PS5 Enhanced for PS5 Pro. It is a single-player adventure with offline play, and it carries an ESRB Mature rating (blood, sexual themes, strong language, use of alcohol and violence), so it is intended for adult players.
