The Meta Quest 3S is an entry-level mixed reality headset designed as a more affordable alternative to the Meta Quest 3. It shares the same core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2) and 8GB of RAM as the Quest 3, but features a lower resolution display (matching the Quest 2’s 1832×1920 per eye) and a narrower field of view. It uses Fresnel lenses, resulting in a thicker design than the Quest 3’s pancake lenses.
